Alexa Rigotti

Purser​

Alexa is thrilled to join Spotlight this summer! Alexa is a rising junior at Princess Anne High School for the IB program and the Governor’s School for the Arts for their Vocal Music Department! She last appeared in “Funeral Parlor” as Maddy, “Going to School” as Cindy, “The Conflict” as Narrator, and “Anastasia” at Princess Anne, as well as The Cowardly Lion in “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” with Rich Theatre Lab. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and writing!

Aliyah Tamondong

Dippy

Aliyah is a rising 11th grader at Kellam High School and has a huge appreciation for the arts. This will be her 6th year performing with Spotlight Productions and has created lasting friendships throughout the years. Aliyah also plays the clarinet and is a section leader for the Kellam Marching Knights marching band. Her artistic talents also include drawing, painting, digital art, photography and her work has been featured in several TCC art shows, and with an honorable mention in the 2026 Virginia Beach Audubon Society Student Art Show. Aside from the arts, she also plays volleyball for a recreational team at the Virginia Beach Field House, enjoys being with her friends and family, and of course, spending time with her pup.

Avelyn Bollen

Reno Sweeney

Avelyn is so excited for her fifth and final show with Spotlight. This Spring, she graduated from the Musical Theatre Department at the Governors School for the Arts, and this Fall she will be attending Coastal Carolina University to earn her B.F.A. degree in Musical Theatre. Some of her favorite roles include Portia in Something Rotten, Gretchen Wieners in Mean Girls, Anne Boleyn in SIX, Hope Cladwell in Urinetown, and most recently, Kate Monster in Avenue Q. Special thanks to Melody, Kelsy, and the entire Spotlight team for believing in her these past few years. Spotlight will always hold a special place in her heart!

Avery Cartwright

Avery Cartwright is a rising senior at Kempsvile High School and the Governor’s School for the Arts. Spotlight has had a special place in her heart for many years. As both a previous intern and performer, she has enjoyed many summers learning from Melody, Kelsey, and Dr. Sullivan. Recently, Avery played Regina George in Mean Girls with Spotlight. She is so grateful for all of the memories she’s had over the years and all of the friends and people she’s met.

Dorothy Glenn

Erma

Dorothy Corrine Glenn is De-Lighted to be in her 5th and (sadly) final show with Spotlight Productions! Some of her favorite shows she has performed in include “Urinetown The Musical” (Little Becky-Two Shoes) and “Mean Girls The Musical” (Mrs. George) with Spotlight Productions, as well as “Frozen The Musical” (Elsa) and “Little Women” (Amy March) with the PC Players. Dorothy is an incoming freshman at The College of William and Mary, where she plans to continue her theatre and academic journey by double majoring in Psychology and Theatre. Dorothy would like to thank EVERYONE at Spotlight for the safe space and family they have created over the years. Special shout-out to the directing team, Ms. Melody and Ms. Kelsy, for allowing her to be crazy on stage and for their endless support and encouragement, and to her personal celebrity and future Broadway Star, Avelyn. 💗

Dustin Ackerson

Moonface Martin

Dustin is an 18 Year old actor who has been acting since he was 15. He has played shows such as Sound of Music, Mean Girls, Clue! On stage, Bye Bye Birdie, UrineTown, Little Women, The Demon, and his most recent shown is The Phantom of The Opera! He is excited to do his 3rd and last Spotlight Camp. He is currently on track to go to Virginia Tech for Biochemistry! He thanks all of the people who have supported him and hopes you enjoy the show!

Elisabeth Smith

This is Elisabeth's 4th summer at Spotlight.  She previously appeared in The Prom, Mean Girls and Urinetown.  A rising 10th grader at Kellam HS, Elisabeth has appeared in Peter and the Star Catcher and The Music Man.  She also enjoys playing the clarinet and dancing in her ballet and lyrical classes.

Emelia is so excited to participate in her second year with Spotlight Productions. She is a rising sophomore in the Vocal Strand at the Visual and Performing Arts Academy at Salem High School. Emelia would like to thank everyone who has supported her and Spotlight Productions for welcoming her back for another fantastic year!

Esther Gammill

Evangeline Harcourt

Esther is a rising senior at Ocean Lakes High School and a lover of theatre and the arts. This is her 12th show she has been a part of, cast or crew, including the ensemble in Big Fish with Kings Players Community Theatre and Aunt ‘Em/Narrator in The Wizard of Oz with Rich Theatre. In her spare time, Esther enjoys dancing and exploring the outdoors. 1 John 2:16-17. Glory to God!

Grayson Hinsch

Grayson is excited to return to Spotlight! Recent credits include Barrel in Urinetown and The Bad Idea Bear in Avenue Q. He is a Rising Senior at Maury High and a Musical Theatre student at GSA, and he thanks his family and friends for their love and support!

Juliette Murphy

Juliette is excited to be returning to Spotlight Productions for her second summer! She is an Elite Company dancer at Dynamic Movements and will be entering her fifth year on the competition team. This fall, Juliette will begin 8th grade and is a proud member of the National Junior Honor Society. She is also looking forward to competing at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) in early 2027. Juliette would like to thank her family, teachers, and friends for their love and support, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Juneau Frisbie Baade is thrilled to be a part of Spotlight again, and celebrates his 18th birthday on opening night of Anything Goes! Favorite past roles Juneau has held include Olin Britt (The Music Man), Sir Wargrave (And Then There Were None), Dr. Gibbs (Our Town), Scrooge (A Christmas Carol), Mr. Banks (Mary Poppins), tap dancing in Singing in the Rain and Crazy For You, and Mr. Cladwell (Urinetown, also with Spotlight). Beyond theatre, Juneau loves music, classical voice, piano, composition, and woodworking. He would like to thank Melody and the Spotlight team for this opportunity, and his family and friends for your love and support!

Kai is thrilled to be back with Spotlight Productions this summer! He is a rising senior in the Musical Theatre Department at The Governor's School for the Arts. Recent credits include Avenue Q School Edition with GSA (Princeton), 1776 and A Christmas Carol with VMT, Urinetown with Spotlight Productions (Officer Lockstock), and Singin' in the Rain, Jr. with StoneBridge Drama (Don Lockwood). Huge thanks to his family, friends, and instructors.

Kasey Weigl

Spit

Kasey is a dedicated rising junior with a passion for the arts and performance. A member of Salem High School’s Visual and Performing Arts Academy’s vocal strand, she is excited to be participating in Spotlight Productions for the 5th time. Outside of theater, Kasey is involved in varsity gymnastics, varsity softball, varsity cheer, and Student Council Association, bringing her creativity, teamwork, and leadership skills to everything she does.

Layla Rose Sullivan

Angel

Layla is excited to return to Spotlight this year! After performing in Urinetown with Spotlight Productions in 2025, Layla moved to Pennsylvania and spent the year taking classes and performing in productions with Pittsburgh Musical Theater. Her most recent roles include Splasher in Newsies, The Ghost of Christmas Past in A Lyrical Christmas Carol, and Duffy in Annie all with Pittsburgh Musical Theater. She recently moved to North Carolina and Anything Goes will be her last summer theater tour show before starting the school year at Longleaf High School for the Performing Arts in Raleigh. She can't wait for you to watch the show and she hopes you enjoy it!

Loveday Sym

Loveday Sym is making her true theater debut with Anything Goes, after participating in ensembles for Front n Center's Charlie Brown production, Saint Patrick Catholic School's Guys and Dolls and Drowsy Chaperone productions and Ballet Virginia's Nutcracker and Snow White productions.  After having danced ballet and contemporary dance for 7 years, she has happily transitioned to being on stage as an actor. Special thanks to her parents and her brother, Tristan, for their never-ending support!

Lynna is thrilled to be performing with Spotlight Productions! This is her first time performing with Spotlight, but she has interned for their Junior camp for the past 2 years. She is a student at Princess Anne High School IB Program. Her credits include: Cinderella in Cinderella and the Substitute Fairy Godmother, Queen of Hearts in Alice, Moana Jr, Hurrah for the Holidays, High School Musical Jr, Beauty and the Beast Jr, James and the Giant Peach Jr, Willy Wonka Jr. Lynna would like to thank the cast, crew, and everyone who supported her throughout her performing arts journey.

Matteo Panecaldo

Lord Evelyn Oakleigh

Matteo Panecaldo is a fourth year Senior at the Governor’s School for the Arts. He was previously in Spotlight Production’s Mean Girls as Aaron and The Prom as Nick. He has also been in many GSA productions, with his most recent one being Shakespeare’s R&J by Joe Calarco. Matteo is grateful to be taking on this role in Anything Goes and would like to thank his fellow cast members for their contribution to creating this show and his friends and family for their everblooming support of his acting career.

Olivia Geluso

Olivia is a rising senior and in her second year with Spotlight Productions! She has previously been seen as Penelope Pennywise in Spotlight’s Urinetown, and in other local productions such as Martha Cratchit in A Christmas Carol and Puppet Ensemble in Avenue Q. She is so excited to be sailing the seven seas this summer and is eternally grateful for her family, both at home and at Spotlight!

Penelope Saunders

Angel

Penelope is a rising 10th grader at Tallwood High School in the GSWLA program and at GSA for the technical theatre track. She has been part of many productions, both onstage and backstage. Recent credits include Intern for 101 Dalmations (Spotlight), Assistant Stage Manager for “She Kills Monsters” (GSA), and Assistant Set Designer for “Junie B Jones” (Hurrah Players). She has also performed and taken classes with the Hurrah Players for three years. In her free time, Penelope enjoys crocheting, sewing, practicing her carpentry skills, and playing with her cats.

Shyla Schiess

Shyla has spent most of her youth living in Japan but made Virginia Beach her home 2 years ago. She has held dancing and acting roles throughout her childhood and even got to be the main character in her school play while attending Okinawa Christian School International. Since moving to Virginia, Shyla has enjoyed playing volleyball on a year round co-ed league, making new friends, and traveling up and down the East Coast.

Tommie Lawrence

Tommie has been dancing since the age of 4, and is a member of the Dynamic Movements Dance Team in Suffolk. Tommie has been in several productions with Renaissance School of the Arts, playing Master Augustus Twiller in “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, “Beaver” in “Nottingham, the Musical”, and Dr. John Watson in Sherlock Holmes’ “A Study in Scarlet”. This is their first year as a Spotlight Productions camper and is excited to be a part of “Anything Goes”!

Zachary Roy

Henry T. Dobson

Zachary is a rising sophomore at First Colonial High School with a strong interest in biomedical engineering, a field he hopes to pursue as a college major. Outside the classroom, he enjoys music and plays both the saxophone and clarinet. He also likes playing tennis with his friends and has earned the rank of junior black belt in martial arts, reflecting his dedication and discipline. When he has free time, Zachary enjoys playing video games, which take up a significant portion of his leisure time. He has also developed a love for theater over the years because it gives him the opportunity to express himself creatively. His enthusiasm for performing has even inspired him to encourage his friends to join theater and experience it with him.

Zara Jones

Zara is excited to be in her very first musical! She has been in plays as an actor and tech. Zara has also been doing chorus for 3 years including all-city for all three years, she has also competed in many choir competitions. She is very grateful to be in Spotlight Productions!

Zoe Jakubs

Zoe Jakubs is 14 years old and is a rising 9th grader at Cape Henry Collegiate who loves to sing and crochet. This is her second year doing Spotlight summer camp and she is thrilled to be in the cast of “Anything Goes”. Zoe has been doing theater for the last 5 years and enjoys it very much. Some of her favorite shows that she had been in are Urinetown with Spotlight Productions, Best Christmas Pageant Ever with the Hurrah Players, and Seussical the Musical at Cape Henry Collegiate.
